Victoria Lightfoot is an experienced public relations professional with a background in media relations, corporate, executive and internal communications, public speaking and speech writing. Victoria has spent six years with Atlanta CVB promoting the city as the top destination for business and leisure travel through earned media relations efforts. Victoria has secured more than 300 media placements for Atlanta in publications such as Lonely Planet U.S., USA Today, Travel + Leisure and The Guardian U.K.
Victoria has been recognized for her contributions to both the public relations industry as well as the travel and tourism industry. In 2016, she was recognized by the second largest PRSA chapter in U.S., PRSA Georgia, as a Chapter Champion. In 2017, she was selected for Destination’s International’s prestigious 30 under 30 program, where she traveled to Montréal, Canada to be recognized with 29 of her peers.
Victoria earned her Bachelor of Arts from Georgia State University, where she majored in Journalism and minored in Hospitality Administration. Prior to her time with Atlanta CVB, she completed six internships with companies including Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts and Hope-Beckham, Inc.
